I’d like to wish all my American friends a belated Happy Thanksgiving! Even if you are about a month late celebrating! But never mind, I do hope you had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with family and friends. Family and friends, that’s where my mind went first with this challenge. Then I decided that was too easy, that I should think of something else. I decided to show photos of things I am thankful for, beautiful things I see when I’m out and about. Anyone who walks with me knows I often stop to capture something that catches my attention. I’m like a magpie who is attracted to anything shiny, but worse. I’m attracted to so many things beyond shiny!

river viewI was trying to capture the graceful sweeping lines of the branches on this tree. It really was beautiful. And just to round things out, here’s one of my favorite photos of Kush the cat. I’m so thankful that my son, Marc, left her to become my constant companion for the last few months.
