This past week I decided to do some printing at home, in the kitchen. I was close to a sink with plenty of horizontal work surfaces nearby. I wanted to get some Christmas cards done – possibly early enough that they could be sold for use this Christmas. I used some beautiful cards which I had picked up in Colorado a couple of years ago, and carved designs specific for each design. This was not the most practical way to work, but the result was worth it. My head is spinning with ideas. These particular cards were gorgeous to begin with, so it was a challenge to find a way to enhance them respectfully. I love a good challenge.

Terrific additions. Absolutely brilliant to ‘add to’ and personalize these cards in this way. I love the fact that you are busy carving, designing and leaving your imprint (literally). Well done!

Thanks Catherine. I am having great fun with this. Soon I will have to give more thought to marketing…
