Tonight I hosted my book club’s Christmas meeting. We shared a delicious pot luck dinner, discussed a book and generally spent some quality social time together. One of the best things about the meeting for me was the deadline that was established for most of my Christmas decorating. Two trees are up and fully decorated, the dining room chandelier is dressed and there is most definitely an air of Christmas about the whole house. And it is only the 8th of December! It would be great to think that there is nothing left to do but sit back and relax, but that is a pipe dream of major proportions. I have a ton of things to do before Christmas arrives, but at least it is easier to get into the festive spirit with all the decorations up. Here’s a sampling of how things look:
