weekly photo challenge : wrong

I’ve posted the first 2 photos before, but this was the first thing that came to mind for the challenge – carving a stamp backwards. Spending all that time and energy on a mistake is definitely wrong.

The next photo shows a main course serving from the restaurant Acadia in Toronto. I don’t remember the type of fish, I just remember being hungry when we left the restaurant. I think they’ve taken portion control a step too far, which I think is wrong, especially considering the prices on the menu. The food was good, there just wasn’t really enough to get more than a taste.

  1. I loved the design and execution of your stamp! Too bad you found out too late it was backwards. I have so been there, Terri! Carving stamps backwards and in the negative is HARD! 🙂

    1. Thanks. Perhaps I’ll stick with geometrics for awhile…

  2. I’ve never super-sized anything, nor have I ever been inclined to buy a trough of popcorn at the multiplex, but this portion redefines spa cuisine. Were the appetizers microscopic?

  3. Since when does 3 Tbsp of food constitute a main course? I agree. Absolutely wrong!

    1. I can tell you there was not a lot of sharing going on. You just couldn’t afford to!

I’m sure it wasn’t funny at the time but I had to laugh when I saw your main course photo from Acadia in Toronto. Was there one of those candid cameras around?

    1. There should have been. At least the four of us had a good laugh about the meal. Such a shame, as presentation was beautiful and taste was excellent – I think!

What do you think?
