At this time I would like to thank Linda at Musings From The Studio for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger’s Award. I have long admired Linda’s work and her blog, and am even more in awe considering she has 6 children. I thought 4 was a handful!

The rules of the award ask that I also nominate 15 blogs I think deserve the Versatile Blogger Award.  The blogs listed below are informative, inspiring and worth checking out.

Just a Smidgen – delightful poetry and delicious recipes!

Turkey. Carpets, Textiles and Tours – a personal and informative blog with wonderful photos from Turkey

Artsy Forager – artistic inspiration in the exceptional and the everyday – exposure to a wide variety of artist’s work

Loving the Ride – A girl, her bike, a lust for life in general. And all things pretty.

Charles and Kimberley’s Recipes – lots of yummy recipes

whatimeant2say – humorous family and pet stories

where’s my backpack? – fabulous travel photos from around the globe

Arhitektura+ – great design inspiration and color

Cooking in Sens – an American living, drinking and eating in Burgundy

Sadie & Dasie – an eclectic mix of photos featuring design, events, fashion and dogs

Noelleodesigns – tons of creativity along with family life

Crazy Train to Tinky Town – often humorous adventures of a single woman living in Altinkum, Turkey

Plus Ultra – fantastic travel photos and travelogues

Sugar Dish Me – great recipes that show “if you can read, you can cook”

When you are nominated, you’ve been awarded the Versatile Blogger award.  Here are the rules:

  •  Thank the person who gave you this award.
  •  Include a link to their blog.
  •  Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered, follow regularly or think are worthy of reading.
  •  Tell those 15 bloggers you’ve nominated them for the Versatile Blogger Award.
  •  Finally, tell the person who nominated you seven things about yourself.

Note that you do not have to participate.  I nominated each of you because I feel your blogs are fantastic and deserve to be recognized, read and followed.

And finally, here are my seven things about me:

I grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta and always expected I’d live in Calgary.

I have too much stuff to move.

I rode a motorcycle before I was old enough to get a driver’s license.

I love contemporary craft.

The first time I went to Europe, it was right after grade 9 and I went with a girlfriend. We were both 14. We had no plans – just Eurail passes.

I need to spend more time creating ART!

I can’t believe how hard it is to come up with 7 things I want to share!

  1. Hi Terri! Thanks for the kind comments, and I laughed about how you said it’s hard to come up with 7 things to share about yourself. I thought that, too, but you know that is my favorite part about these posts! What an adventurer you were to go to Europe when you were 14! Now, I am in awe. I’m sure there is a blog — or whole book — in that trip!
