Here’s my late submission to the photo challenge – hopefully just before the next one is announced! I’m travelling and can’t access my photos till I get home, but I managed a few photos on my phone. Here’s a bit of what I’ve seen lately. These were taken at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the world’s oldest shopping mall.
Italy’s and perhaps the world’s capital of fashion and design, Milano is home to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, which is possibly the world’s oldest shopping mall. The city is currently undergoing an architectural renaissance, which will culminate in a new skyline for the Expo 2015, which will be hosted in Milano. Visitors can take advantage of an extensive public transportation system, which includes metro, buses, trolleys and trams.

You’re lucky you were able to get such a good view of the mosaic floor. When I was there it was so crowded I could see little of it. But I shouldnt complain, at least I was able to go!

Thanks, I was lucky, and I had enough time to wait for clear spots. I also have loads of photos with people, but I really liked this bit of mosaic.
