Here are my entries for this week’s photo challenge. The first photo shows a close up of the trunk of a palm tree. Since these don’t grow in Calgary, I’m especially intrigued by the lovely pattern formed by the leaf stems. This tree was growing in San Antonio, Texas.
The next photo shows the view from the inside of our netted umbrella. I felt this was an unusual point of view since we don’t usually sit outside when it is raining. It was actually warm enough to enjoy my coffee while watching the rain.
The last photo shows a space in the main library in San Antonio, looking up towards the ceiling. I love the geometry of the windows and beams juxtaposed with the curvy colored Chihuly glass sculpture.
Your photographs and your explanation to go with it is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
