The draft for this post was just “discovered” in my drafts folder. Not sure why I didn’t post it in 2014 when this exhibit took place. My apologies. The fiber group that I belong to, Contextural, held a meeting at the Esker Foundation. We were treated to a specially arranged curator’s tour. It was a lovely evening where we saw the work of 3 artists. Here are some of my favorite things from the exhibit, which we were allowed to photograph. These are works by Peter von Tiesenhausen.
Lastly I must include another photo of the stairwell of the building – simply because I appreciate it’s beauty every time I see it.
What a great place for a meeting. I’ve been drawn to modern art more and more in the past few years. I’ve seen some really great exhibitions.

The Esker is a fabulous space, and I think it’s good to get out with a group to share the experience.
