weekly photo challenge : journey

I think photos taken from a plane, even though not the best quality images, exemplify “journey” for me. Whether the beginning or the end of a trip, it is all part of the journey.

Britain from the air

plane view in Peru

mountains in Peru

plane shot of clouds and ground

ready to land

I feel like a child who can’t get enough of the view out of the window, and I’m okay with that.

  2. I know what you mean about feeling like a big kid, and never really getting enough of the view 🙂

    1. I could have compared myself to a dog who needs the window seat, but dogs like the window open. I like it closed on the plane!

  3. Even though I know the quality won’t be there, I still take shots out the window of a plane. The view is special from up that high… a totally different perspective.
    Great shots, Terri!

    1. Thanks Olga. Glad I’m not alone here (or up there)!

  4. Great photos for “journey”! I used to sit Motor Man by the window (he’d hang out of it if he could), but since I began blogging, I usually sit by the window for at least part of the trip!

    1. Thanks for the comment. When I’m sitting next to a stranger with the window seat, I just hope I don’t see something irresistible!

  5. You are making me want to get on a plane. What have I been thinking choosing all those aisle seats??….

    1. I’m always torn about which seat to chose, and it’s a bit of a gamble as to the precise location of the windows in relation to the seat and the wing as well! Decisions decisions.
